Editing Services

Hello Everyone!

So as of today I'm going to start offering editing services. I can edit fiction, non-fiction, letters, flyers, advertisements, or anything else you may need.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a professional editor. However, I do have extensive experience with editing. For the past four years or so I've been part of a writing group. I edit anywhere between 3,000 and 15,000 words per week. 

When I turn my own work in for professional editing, I always get compliments about how well-edited my work is and how little needs to be fixed in it.

Because I don't have any experience as a paid editor (yet!) I'm keeping my rates low for the time being. They will probably go up after I've done a few editing jobs, so jump on board now while my rates are this low!

For basic copy-editing (line edits, sentence structure, grammar, etc.) my rate is $300.00 for up to 100,000 words. It will be $0.015 or 1.5 cents for every word above that. Over 150,000 words, we'll talk about a custom price.

For more comprehensive editing (also story structure, characters, plot, etc.) the rate is $500.00 for up to 100,000 words. It will be $0.025/word, or 2.5 cents per word above that. Over 150,000 words, we'll talk about a custom price.

If you have something else in mind, just shoot me an email. I'm workable and open to anything you may need. Currently I'm using paypal for payments, but again, I'm flexible. If you want to do things some other way, just contact me and we'll work something out.
